Judging by this video, Mike. They used one of Danny's more laid back moments in this video while Mike was throwing some pretty crazy shit in there. Overall, I've seen plenty of solos from both and I've heard a lot of both bands, and I think that Danny plays way more creatively and tastefully. Sometimes it seems like Portnoy tries to fit as many hits into a short amount of time as possible, and I hate when drummers do that.
